The East Rochester Drumline

The East Rochester Percussion Ensemble exists to provide an exciting and educational experience in music to those students who are percussion majors, those who are new to percussion, and those who are new to instrumental music.

And to rock.

Drumline is a major part of Percussion Ensemble, a full-credit course at East Rochester High School that was split in 2002 from the high school band. In addition to working as a Drumline, we study a number of other areas of percussion including concert percussion, mallets, drumset, and ethnic drumming styles. Selected students learn concert band percussion parts and rehearse and perform with the Wind Ensemble to complete the High School Band.
